What is the Full Armor of God?

The Belt of Truth

Facts may present a grim reality, but the truth is that God is sovereign and in control. Walking in this truth means letting it guide our thoughts, words, and actions daily.

The Breastplate of Righteousness

Also in verse 14, we find the Breastplate of Righteousness. Outside of Jesus, there is no righteousness. Through Him, we are made righteous, and our daily decisions should reflect this. Righteousness isn't just a Sunday affair; it’s a lifestyle that involves making godly choices consistently.

The Shoes of Peace

Verse 15 speaks of the Shoes of Peace, which ground us in the good news of Jesus Christ. These shoes protect us and provide stability. As we walk in peace, our actions should lead others to Christ, reflecting the gospel in everything we do.

The Shield of Faith

In verse 16, we are instructed to take up the Shield of Faith. This shield is not just a small piece of armor; it’s large enough to protect our entire body.
